experience
iam the first person after lunch at 2:00 pm
(No.
4 interview panel) on 30th june 09they asked me
about
my work experience for 5 min.and asked some
questions
on batteries(work experience related)then
they
asked me to design a circuit for battery charger
(1-phase
i/p and -48 dc output)then they asked about
my
fav. subjects,i choosen
1.elec.
machines
2.circuit
theory
3.power
electronics.
they started with t/f
1.asked about working principle of
t/f( i clearly explained including with lenz law)
2.then they asked if some part of
core is removed what happens,
3.what is leakage flux,and showed
some 3 phase t/f circuits and asked in
whichcombination leakage flux will
be more and induced emf
4.about BH curve for core of t/f
and for air.
5.they asked me for different
combinations of turns(and also frequencies) on
primary andsecondary what is
the output voltage
.
6.one of them given 2 ind. machines
with different slips and asked
about i/pcurrent,power
factor,and power output for the 2 machines
7.what happens if a alternator with
52 hz frequency is connected to
infinite busbar
.
8.what happens if mech i/p is removed
to a alternator which is on
infinite busbar.
9.asked 4,5 questions on rlc
transients circuits(i answered all the 5 questions)
like howthe inductor
discharges(direction)
10.FET characteristics
11. asked 2,3 questions about harmonics in t/f and some misc.
questions
which i have not remembered, i think i have answered
80%correctlyfinally they asked
me about my native place,and said wait outside for 2 min
they called the assistants outside the room to handover my medical
slip
